Cloud based accounting platforms

Clients provide accountant access to their cloud based accounting platform.
Clients share their bank statements, invoices, bills and receipts via file hosting server such as Google drive, Drop box etc.
All of the data is checked by a manager
After checking the data, tasks are assigned to a staff member for data processing.
The manager periodically checks the work. It is also reviewed on completion before delivering it to the client.

Desktop based platforms

There are two ways of working on desktop based platforms.

Sharing Backup and Access via VPN.

Sharing Backup involves the following steps:

Client provides back up if its desktop based software.
Client shares its bank statements, invoices, bills and receipts via file hosting server such as Google drive, Drop box etc.
Manager checks all the data.
After checking the data tasks are assigned to a staff member for processing data.
The backup is restored and is updated with the new information.
The manager periodically checks the work. It is also reviewed on completion before delivering it to the client.

Access via VPN has the following steps

Clients software is accessed via remote server
Client shares its bank statements, invoices, bills and receipts via file hosting server such as Google drive, Drop box etc
Manager checks all the data
After checking the data, tasks are assigned to a staff member for processing data
The software is updated through remote access
The manager periodically checks the work which is also reviewed on completion before delivering it to the client
